Let us lend a helping hand to couples who want to show their partner how much they care. We’ve only scratched the surface of our list of 100 Ways to Be Romantic. Check out what we’ve come up with so far, and if you have any great ideas to share, please let us know so that we can help out romantics all over the world.
Here are some ways to be romantic :-
- The obvious one is to purchase some flowers. But do it right: make them in your partner’s favourite colour, hide a note inside, buy them just to tell them how much you adore them, and give them to them when they are least expecting it.
- Prepare a meal for them. Something you’ve never made before for them – from scratch. Nigel Slater’s recipes are popular with us. Hugh, for example. To be fair, we simply enjoy good food.
- Purchase some chocolates, but only those that your partner enjoys. As a surprise, place them in their office desk drawer or in the glove compartment of their car.
- Take them on a romantic vacation. A short break for just the two of us.
- Take a long walk. This one is simple, but simply getting out of the house can be a great way to clear the cobwebs and spend some quality time together.
- Make tonight a movie night. Watch an old classic film. Why not have a brief encounter?
- Inquire about how you can assist. Their problems are now your problems, and simply reminding them of this can be a huge help. This is quietly romantic, and they will remember it.
- Write them a touching letter. This has to be one of the most romantic things you could possibly do. Tell them why they are important to you, what they have done for you, and how you feel about them.
- Bring them dancing. I believe that everyone has an innate desire to dance. Make it a classy affair, without any shady nightclub R&B. It makes no difference if you’re both hopeless. You can spend the rest of the night laughing about it if you go salsa and try one dance, shuffle.
- Invite your friends to join you. A get-together has a very heartwarming quality to it. Generosity brings out the best in everyone, and doing so together will remind you of what it means to be a team.
- We have hundreds of luxury cottages for couples, ranging from cute thatched retreats in the romantic Cotswolds to wild and sublime getaways on Scotland’s north coasts.
